Terms of Service
Last updated 23 September 2026
- What it costs
- A$79.90 per month, flat, per account — not per location.
- Free trial
- 14 days. No card is required to start one.
- Billing
- Monthly in advance, by card, through Stripe. Subscribe during your trial and the first charge is deferred to the day the trial ends.
- Cancelling
- Any time, from Settings. Access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds
- Cancelling does not refund the remainder of the current month. This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Who you are contracting with
Nora is operated by Conceptr Pty Ltd (ABN 13 653 038 861, ACN 653 038 861), an Australian company. Using the service means you accept these terms.
The service
Nora reads your catalogue and inventory from Square and gives you tools to track stock, log waste, and cost recipes. It is a reporting and record-keeping tool. It does not take payments from your customers, and it is not an accounting system.
The service depends on Square. If your Square account is closed, or you revoke our access, the service stops working.
Trial, price and billing
- A 14-day free trial starts when you connect your Square account. No card is required to begin it.
- After the trial the price is A$79.90 per month, charged monthly in advance. It is a flat price for your account, regardless of how many locations you run.
- If you subscribe while your trial is still running, your card is stored but the first charge is deferred until the trial ends — you keep the days you have left. If fewer than two days remain, the subscription starts immediately and you are charged then; the checkout page tells you which applies before you confirm.
- Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Prices are in Australian dollars.
We will give you at least 30 days notice by email before any price change affecting you.
Cancelling, and what happens after
- You can cancel at any time from Settings, which opens Stripe's billing portal. You can also cancel by emailing us.
- Cancelling stops future charges. It does not refund the remainder of the month you have already paid for, and you keep access until that period ends.
- When the paid period ends, your account becomes view-only — you can still see your data but cannot change it. See the Privacy Policy for how deletion works.
- If a payment fails, Stripe retries it over several days. You keep access during that time. If it ultimately fails, your account becomes view-only.
When your trial or subscription ends, your account becomes view-only for 30 days: you can still sign in and see your data, but you cannot add, edit or delete anything. Your data is kept for that whole period and is not deleted before it ends. Exporting your data requires an active subscription.
Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including guarantees that cannot be excluded.
Your responsibilities
- The waste logs, costs and recipes you enter are yours, and the numbers we report are only as accurate as what you put in.
- You must keep your Square account secure and comply with Square's own terms.
- You must not use the service for anything unlawful, or attempt to disrupt it for other merchants.
Writing back to Square
Logging waste can decrement the stock count held in your Square catalogue. That is the point of the feature, but it means the service writes to your live Square data. Check the quantities before you log them. We are not able to reverse a Square stock adjustment on your behalf.
Availability
We do not promise uninterrupted service. The product depends on Square, Stripe, and our hosting providers, and any of them can be unavailable. We aim to fix faults promptly, and we will not charge you for a month in which the service was substantially unavailable because of a fault on our side — ask us and we will sort it out.
Limitation of liability
Nora is a tool for managing inventory and tracking waste. It is not advice, and we are not responsible for business decisions you make from the figures it displays. Verify anything that matters against your own records.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ending the service
You may stop using the service at any time. We may end it with 30 days notice by email, or immediately if the account is being used unlawfully. If we end the service without cause, we refund any period you have paid for and not used.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
